THE
SYMPOSIUM
Amidst
lingering sluggishness in regional and national economies, shifting
geo-political priorities and state budget deficits, urban communities
must identify and pursue new paths of opportunity for social and
economic revitalization, if they are to participate in new models
shaped for the 21st Century. The SYMPOSIUM, built around ISTTD's
FALL 2002/2003 "TEC" CAMPAIGN (Technology, Education and Capital)
theme, brings together some of the leading thinkers and policy-makers
to discuss how this critical "DNA' for urban revitalization can
be more effectively deployed and galvanized to achieve the goal
of empowering individuals and improving communities." If you want
to hear from the experts that know, you will not miss this important
and vital discussion.
