Prof. Sidney Morse, Co-Founder, Chairman, President and CEO of the Institute For Strategic Thinking and Technology Development, Inc. (ISTTD)
SIDNEY MORSE is Co-Founder, Chairman, President and CEO of the Institute For Strategic Thinking and Technology Development, Inc. (ISTTD), "The Digital Think Tank," whose mission is to bring new thinking to the challenges facing American urban centers and to create linkages to developing nations.
Prof. Morse is also President and CEO of THE MORSE GROUP GLOBAL ADVISORS, Inc. (TMGGA), which provides strategic advice to developing nations and U.S. business interests seeking to establish relationships in such nations and NEW MILLENNIUM COMMUNICATIONS Inc. (NMC), a publishing, media and communications company that utilizes new technologies to distribute Intellectual Property Products (IPP's) media products.
Under the auspices of NMC he has serves as a television producer, most notable to date has been his services as West Coast Producer, "Tony Brown's Journal," the longest running series in the history of PBS. He also makes appearances on television as a commentator on subjects related to political issues of the day, urban technology and empowerment.
Additionally, Prof. Morse teaches at Pepperdine University's George L. Graziadio School of Business and Management. He has conducted extensive research and fields specific expertise in such areas as Global Leadership, Strategic Management including Knowledge Management and Change Management and, Strategic Technology Management including Technology Transfer in a Global Economy.
He co-founded ISTTD in 1999 with retired Congressman and former California Lieutenant Governor, the Honorable Dr. Mervyn Dymally. The ISTTD STRATEGIC ADVISORY COUNCIL is composed of some of the leading thinkers in the world in the areas of technology transfer, economic development, finance and investment and geo- politics. Professor Morse is widely considered a leading thinker in these areas as well.
In addition to being a skilled teacher and trainer, Professor Morse's professional experience not only includes more than seventeen years of consulting experience, but also in varying management capacities for three major corporations that include Owens Illinois, Avnet Inc. and Xerox Corporation. His management development experience spans more than twenty-five years and he has developed strategic business models and helped to implement strategy for organizations both in the U.S. and abroad.
Professor Morse is an active public speaker and is widely published through position papers, policy analysis and his various columns. His American domestic column "URBAN TECHNOLOGY: THE ISSUES AND THE IMPACT" is nationally syndicated to hundreds of newspapers and magazines, reaching millions of people. The international version of that column "GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY: THE ISSUES AND THE IMPACT" is also syndicated and focuses on technology transfer, economic development, finance and investment and geo- politics and urban empowerment.
